Without a doubt, the most interesting discovery on my visit to Myanmar was found on Inle Lake. Entire villages of Tibeto-Burman people (with roots from Indonesia) live their entire lives on the water. Huge tomato farms float on Inle’s surface and villages live in stilt-borne bamboo huts and navigate by canoe and long-tail boat. Simply incredible. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intha_people
