Deception Island is one of the eeriest and most melancholy places on earth.  Hidden deep within the caldera of a volcano on the Antarctic peninsula, graves and whale bones whisper a story of sorrow and great hardship.  Slowly, the abandoned whaling station is disappearing into the Antarctic Winds.  Nature will reclaim the land but nothing can remove the sadness that will forever haunt her desolate shores.
