I certainly did not expect to be spending the day crawling through tiny, pitch-black 5,000 year-old passageways inspecting the seams between massive stone blocks with Egyptologist Bob Brier. Clues to hidden rooms or theft prevention devices are evident if you know where to look. Until the Eiffel Tower was built, the Great Pyramid was the largest man made structure on Earth. I’m in awe of the technological prowess of these ancient Engineers. (Oh, and their alien overlords).
