The Road Not Taken:
Met this Kapuna in Paia.  Went up to him and asked if I could take his portrait.  He looked up at me slowly and said, “ok.”  After a few pictures, I offered to share his portrait and handed him one of my cards (each one has a different image).  This one was of a sunset in Joshua Tree National Park.  He looked at the card for a long while and just said, “Beautiful.”  That was it.  I wonder about his life story.  My bet – he chose the less traveled, but damn interesting, road.
