When shooting medium format film, my approach to hand-held shooting is almost always the same – very slow and nearly automatic:  Rough frame of the subject, in-camera metering and speed check, focus, refine frame…then hold my breath before actuating the shutter for a single shot…then breathe again.  When shooting digital, I’m framing & shooting fast – and am far too sloppy.  I’m going to try shooting digital with the same care that I would with film.  Svalbard. Contax 645, Portra 400.
